Vincent Altichette, deputy director of the International Red Cross’s East Asia Region, was invited to give lectures to students of institute for human rights


On the morning of April 26, 2018, the Deputy Director of the International Red Cross Societies in East Asia, Vincent Auchelrett, was invited to give a lecture entitled "Working at the International Scarlet Club - From Personal Experience" for the students.


At the beginning of the lecture, Prof. Zhang Wei, Co-director of the Institute, first introduced the personal experience of Mr. Ao Chileite to the participants. Mr. Auschreiter also recalled his experience in studying at Fudan University in China and his work experience at the International Red Cross Society. Then, the assistant of Mr. Auchelrett introduced the origins, development, ideas and major work of the International Red Cross. Afterwards, Mr. Auchelrett used his personal experience to tell the students about the main work of the International Red Cross. It also includes the history of the past years. The students were very touched. In the following question session, Mr. Aochilat specifically mentioned that China has exerted its strong international influence and economic strength, and provided many help for the work of the International Red Cross through mediation and donation. At the same time, Mr. Achille also welcomed students from Chinese universities to do internship at the International Red Cross to contribute to international humanitarian and human rights work.


In the end, Mr. Auchelrett and his assistants took pictures with the teachers and students attending the meeting and concluded successfully.
