On the morning of December 11, 2017 and morning of the 12th, Mr. Sune Skadegaard Thorsen visited institute for right to give a lecture entitled "The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights" to graduate students.
On the morning of the 11th, the key topics of the lecture were: UN Guiding Principles and Complying with Human Rights of Lists, Public Institutions and Corporations; Defining Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Social Responsibility Compliance and Strategies; Emphasizing Corporate Responsibility for Sustainable Social Development; 2008 Comparing the Lurger Framework of the Year with the 2011 United Nations Guiding Principles, the company compiles the six rules of thumb that apply to the three components of corporate responsibility for the three parties that respect human rights. Then, he answered the questions raised by students and professor Zhang Wei. Finally, he showed an evaluation sample of an enterprise.
On the morning of the 12th, Mr. Sune Skadegaard Thorsen introduced corporate social responsibility and responsible corporate supply chain management to ensure that companies use their influence to realize their human rights in business cooperation. Next, he introduced the expectations of the UN Guiding Principles on corporate social responsibility, including policy commitments, respect for responsibility and remedial measures. As well as how to respect and guarantee human rights in the supply chain. Finally, we showed the case of transparency in the supply chain in Bangladesh.
Through two days of lectures, students have a new understanding of "business and human rights."
