Lecture Series: American Culture (Mr. Brian Hoyt, US Embassy in China)

November 21st, 2013 - Mr. Brian Hoyt, now serving as Economic and Commercial Officer in the U.S. Embassy in China , visited the Institute for Human Rights and gave a lecture to the eights first-year master’s degree candidates. 

The lecturer gave a brief overview of his favorite American cities - New York, L.A., Miami, San Francisco, and how they represent the  United States'  cultural and economic diversity.

Hoyt, with the students present, talked openly about the birth control, environmental pollution, food safety, right to bear arms policies, and President Obama’s Health Care Reform in the  U.S.
