Lecture: Legal culture (by Mr. Alan Clark)

September 10, 2015, - Mr. Alan Clark, Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer, visited the Institute for Human Rights of CUPL and delivered an excellent speech to the first-year master students. Some Ph.D.students also attended the lecture.

 


The lecture was focused on the subject of human rights. To start with, Mr. Clark introduced himself, main point of his job and the function of State department. Secondly, He asked the students to introduce themselves. Students answered actively and everybody felt excited. Then Mr. Clark said that it is very happy to share his experience and knowledge to the students and encouraged the students to ask questions. The students asked some questions, such as the law of LGBT in the US, the relationship of culture and human rights, how to balance the human rights and other questions which are related to human rights law.



 

Time passed quickly, students showed a great interest during the lecture and had a nice communication and interaction with Mr. Clark. The lecture ended with a group picture of the attendants.
