On April 17, 2025, the Institute for Human Rights (Institute for Contemporary Rule of Law) at China University of Political Science and Law hosted a symposium on think tank work. Attendees included Zhang Sen, Deputy Director of the Office of Scientific Research; Zhang Qin Yu from the School of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law; Jin Hong from the School of Business; and over ten other faculty representatives, with Vice President Lin Hua presiding.
The meeting focused on advancing high-end think tank development. Zhang Sen outlined institutional policies, emphasizing resource integration to support interdisciplinary research. Lin Hua proposed a developmental framework centered on the "integration of legal and non-legal disciplines, collaboration between internal and external stakeholders, and synergy between academia and practice," while introducing the planning framework for the China University of Political Science and Law High-End Think Tank Forum. Participants discussed topics such as research outcome evaluation mechanisms, cross-disciplinary research practices, and forum implementation strategies, aiming to enhance policy-oriented intellectual contributions.
