Professor Wang Xu from Renmin University of China was invited to give lectures to the institute

On November 16, 2017, Wang Xu, the Professor of Renmin University of China was invited to visit the Institute for Human Rights of China University of Political Science and Law. He conducted lectures around "The Writing Method of Legal Essay ". and Lecturer Wang Liwan and some graduate students, doctoral students participated in this lecture.

Professor Wang mainly taught four kinds of essay writing methods: knowledge-based writing, institutional construction writing, case handling writing and creative writing. Then Professor Wang described the common writing requirements of the four writing methods. The first one is to have a sense of problem. The second is to turn the question into a concrete proposition. The third is to have arguments. The last is to collect materials. Next, according to the characteristics of each method，Professor Wang explained the application of these methods.

Finally, Professor Wang gave some suggestions about writing: first，Everyone needs to concentrate on reading and conducting in-depth reading. Second, People who want to write excellent essays should have a relatively concentrated time to write. Last but not least, there is uncertainty in the creation of the individual, so do not wait until you have a clear idea of how to write.

At the end of the lecture, students asked many questions about the essay writing and Professor Wang answered the question patiently. The lecture ended in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and Professor Wang to take pictures with the students.
