On June 18, the third China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) Human Rights Forum, hosted by our institute, was successfully held at the Xueyuanlu Campus of our university. The forum's theme was "A New Agenda for Sino-U.S. Legal Exchanges." Faculty and students from institutions such as Beijing Normal University, China Women's University, and China University of Political Science and Law participated in the event. The keynote speaker was Neysun Mahboubi, Director of the Penn Project on the Future of U.S.-China Relations at the University of Pennsylvania, Senior Fellow of the Asia Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and a renowned expert on Chinese law. He engaged in discussions with CUPL scholars on the history, current state, and future directions of Sino-U.S. legal exchanges. The panelists included Professor Wang Wanhua from the Procedural Law Research Institute of CUPL, Professor Luo Zhimin, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Professor Cheng Xiezhong, Director of the Administrative Law Institute at the Law School. The forum was chaired by Professor Lin Hua, Executive Vice Dean of our institute, with Associate Professor Yang Bochao, Vice Dean, also in attendance.
